Police were called to the food court on reports of gunfire where they found 17-year-old Columbia resident Angelo Little dead at the scene around 6:10 p.m., they said.
The suspects had left mall property when police arrived, however, there was no ongoing threat or danger to the public.
According to police, officers were able to safely evacuate people from the mall and the scene was cleared by 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
The department is now offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the shooter.
This is a developing story.
